A leading contractor in the UK water industry is seeking an experienced Cable Jointer to support ongoing infrastructure and maintenance projects in the Chester region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile utility contracts with a company known for its commitment to safety, quality, and innovation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out jointing and termination of LV and HV cables (up to 11kV)
- Working on water treatment sites, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure
- Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and health & safety regulations
- Collaborating with site teams and project managers to meet deadlines
✅ Requirements:
- Recognised Cable Jointing qualifications (e.g., DNO authorisations or equivalent)
- Proven experience in utility or industrial environments, ideally within the water sector
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and permit systems
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS/ECS card (preferred)
