About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team working on projects within the Thames Water network. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading utilities contractor delivering essential infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment on water treatment sites.
- Working on pumps, valves, pipework, and associated systems.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and Thames Water requirements.
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or utilities environment.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Thames Water Passport (desirable - training can be provided).
- Confined Space certification (advantageous).
