Join the Sunseeker Teak Deck Team as a Skilled Carpenter in Poole, Dorset
Are you a highly proficient Carpenter with a passion for precision and quality? Sunseeker is looking for talented individuals to join our Teak Deck team, working on our extensive range of luxury boats.
Role Overview: As a Teak Deck Carpenter, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience across various boat lines, completing bespoke carpentry projects within small, dedicated teams.
- Work with highly valuable teak, similar to hardwood flooring, but with unique challenges and rewards.
- Strive for impeccable quality, demonstrating patience and passion in every task.
- Utilize your practical understanding of materials and adhesives, including glues, stainless steel, and glass.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scribe materials into irregular shapes with exact tolerances, even in awkward positions.
- Sand and prepare decks meticulously for installation, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
Location: You will be based at Sunseeker Shipyards or Sunseeker Willis Way in Poole, Dorset, working at our largest sites within our award-winning workforce. Become a valued member of the Sunseeker family.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate: £14.00 - £16.05 per hour.
