A standout moment for inclusion across engineering and technology

Matchtech has been named the winner of The Inclusive Culture Initiative Award at the IA25 and has also been Highly Commended for the Diversity Initiative of the Year at the REC Awards. These back-to-back achievements highlight the strength of our people-first culture and our commitment to building a more inclusive future for the technical industries we support.

For more 40 years, we have helped organisations across engineering, technology, defence, energy, transport and more access the talent they need to keep vital projects moving. We do much more than place people into jobs. We solve workforce challenges with a mix of data, insight and deep sector expertise, always putting people at the centre.

Listening to real voices and driving real change

The way we work is shaped by what technical professionals tell us matters most. Through the Voice of the Workforce report and the Driven Engineers podcast, we bring forward real stories, honest conversations and the pressures facing today’s workforce. These insights guide how we support candidates and clients and help nudge the wider industry in the right direction.

Equity, diversity and inclusion sit inside everything we do. Not a side project. Not a seasonal theme. A cultural foundation. It influences how we hire, how we train, how we lead and how we support the next generation.

Initiatives that open doors and create opportunity

Our award-winning approach is grounded in practical programmes that remove barriers, back underrepresented talent and build long-term opportunity across engineering and technology.

These include:

  • Limitless and Limitless in Tech:

Offering mentoring, development and connections for women at all stages of their careers

  • Employee Resource Groups:

Giving colleagues a platform to influence policy, culture and leadership

  • Inclusive Recruitment Training:

Delivered across our people and our clients

  • STEM Futures:

Supporting young people from underrepresented backgrounds with training, bursaries and employability support

  • The LEAP Programme:

Creating new engineering career pathways for armed forces veterans

These initiatives now sit at the heart of our culture and our ESG commitments.

Recognition that reflects the work of many

Winning at the IA25 and earning recognition from the REC is a milestone for everyone involved. It celebrates the teams who work every day to make our culture stronger, our industry more accessible and our talent networks more diverse.

We are proud of this recognition and even prouder of the people and communities driving it.
