Job description
Purpose:
- Manage and implement traffic management schemes.
- Ensure effective traffic engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet statutory and legal obligations.
- Provide expert advice on traffic management issues.
- Support the development and training of junior staff.
- Utilize CAD software for designing traffic management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage traffic management projects from conception to completion.
- Service Delivery: Develop and implement customer-focused traffic solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- CAD Design: Create and review traffic management designs using CAD software.
- Communication: Liaise with residents, stakeholders, and other parties to provide information and resolve issues.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of traffic management policies and strategies.
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in traffic management and engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software for traffic design.
- Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
