They are seeking a Software Team Lead to lead and manage a team of software and controls engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and tenders.
The role involves;
- collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and project managers to drive on-time project delivery, support product development, oversee lifecycle management, and proactively manage risks.
Responsibilities of the Software Team Lead include;
- providing strong technical and managerial leadership
- collaborating with functional managers to establish operational goals
- ensuring on-time delivery of projects/products meeting quality standards and cost constraints
- leading lean processes for software configurations
- identifying and mitigating technical risks
- supporting team by preparing and reviewing technical specifications, managing team aspects including training, development, and performance management.
Successful candidates should possess
- a Bachelor's degree in software, electrical, control, computer science, or a related subject,
- proven experience in leading and managing software/controls engineers within power, industrial, or automation sectors
- strong programming/configuration experience in C++ or PLC/SCADA equivalent, understanding of electrical systems
- awareness of Lean Six Sigma methodology
- ability to interpret electrical power system and switchgear components
- experience in leadership, management, or mentoring, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
