Our client, a globally recognised organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Head of Airworthiness for a permanent position based in the UAE. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the initial setup, implementation, and continuous management of an EASA & CAR Part 21 approved Design Office, supporting the expansion of our client's operational capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiating and managing EASA & GCAA applications and implementation plans
- Recruiting and training staff for the design organisation and creating sample certification projects
- Supporting Design Organisation Approval operations by performing checking/approval functions
- Overseeing and advising in all areas of the design organisation
- Implementing monitoring and fault response systems
- Ensuring approved design manuals meet respective requirements and are provided to the appropriate agency
- Supporting the Design Organisation in aspects of airworthiness and certification
Job Requirements:
- Experience with EASA & GCAA Part 21 regulations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Expertise in recruitment and training of design organisation staff
- Ability to manage complex projects and meet regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Relevant aerospace engineering or airworthiness qualification
