Area Sales Manager - North
Location: Covering North West, Yorkshire, North East, Scotland (with potential NI travel)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Expenses
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reporting to: UK Sales Lead
We're partnering with a global leader in sustainable fluid-flow technology to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager. Operating across eight manufacturing facilities worldwide, this company delivers innovative HVAC solutions and is renowned for engineering excellence and a strong commitment to energy efficiency.
This role will see you driving regional sales across the North of the UK, focusing on project-based solution selling to consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceed sales targets for bookings and shipments in your territory
- Manage key accounts and build new client relationships across HVAC and related sectors
- Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, supporting technical requirements
- Champion brand growth through marketing campaigns and customer engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales with product strategy and development
- Maintain accurate records via CRM and provide regular sales reporting
- Represent the business at trade events and support strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Proven sales success in HVAC or a closely related industry
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and energy-efficient solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
