Our client, a leading provider in the utility sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their team in the water industry. This is a permanent role focused on managing wastewater projects, ensuring high standards and compliance with health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational supervisory responsibility for wastewater projects
  • Reviewing progress and performance on-site, ensuring all standards are adhered to
  • Organising all resources for schemes, including plant, labour, materials, and sub-contractors
  • Managing compliance in line with Health and Safety procedures on site (weekly checks, inspections, team briefings, audits)
  • Providing weekly reports on sites to the management team and the client
  • Undertaking health and safety inspections in and around the workplace
  • Raising health and safety-related matters with management
  • Investigating reportable accidents or incidents as they occur

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the utilities sector, ideally in wastewater and capital works
  • Competence, knowledge, and experience in deep excavations, civils, drainage, and structures
  • Experience in street works and confined spaces
  • Awareness of costs and programmes
  • Strong team management and communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
