Our client, is currently seeking an NEC Site Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves supervising a dual carriageway scheme, with an expected duration of 6-12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with the NEC contract standards and specifications
- Supervising site activities on the dual carriageway scheme
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, quality, and safety standards
- Coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Identifying and mitigating potential issues and risks on-site
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Conducting inspections and ensuring all work adheres to specified requirements
- Upholding health and safety regulations on-site
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway construction and supervision
- Strong knowledge of NEC contract management and implementation
- Proficiency in site management, including inspections and reporting
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
