Our client, a premier consultancy in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Yorkshire region. This permanent role is pivotal for delivering excellence and fostering strong client relationships, with a focus on projects in the water and rail sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports across the lifecycle of your projects.
- Provide accurate monitoring, forecasting and reporting of project costs and programme performance, ensuring value for money and cost efficiency for clients.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Direct and manage client-focused teams, mentoring colleagues and providing career growth opportunities.
- Administer a variety of contracts to ensure commercial control and compliance.
- Manage contract change collaboratively and effectively as appropriate for project needs.
- Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of quantity surveying and commercial management of major infrastructure projects.
- Professional accreditation (RICS, CICES) preferred.
- Extensive experience with NEC contracts and similar.
- Relevant professional certifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
