The Role
The Supply Chain Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and developing key supplier relationships to ensure service, availability, and commercial objectives are consistently met. The role combines commercial insight, analytical capability, and stakeholder engagement to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key suppliers to improve service levels and performance
- Reviewing and evaluating route‑to‑market options, including existing distribution and consolidation models
- Driving improvements in supplier service quality while reducing complexity and controlling costs
- Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, generate value, and support commercial performance
- Managing, motivating, and developing direct and indirect team members where applicable
- Working closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance supply chain flexibility and resilience
- Influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Occasional travel as required, with hybrid working available
About You
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing supplier relationships and commercial performance
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships with suppliers and third‑party stakeholders
- Experience identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and value creation
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, with strong Microsoft Office capability
- Confident communicator with a track record of influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
- Comfortable leading meetings and presenting to a range of audiences
