Matchtech are working with a key client within the rail & transit sector to support the recruitment of x2 Project Coordinators. These roles are permanent positions based from Toronto and offering some remote working.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting project execution, coordination, and reporting across a portfolio of rail and transit initiatives.

Your Impact

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables to ensure projects remain aligned with agreed timelines and client expectations.
  • Support project managers with project documentation, progress reporting, and compliance requirements across large-scale rail and transit programs.
  • Facilitate effective communication between engineering, design, and construction teams to help resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans for current and future projects.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and maintain accurate project records for audits, reviews, and stakeholder reporting.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • University degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role within transportation, infrastructure, or engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with rail and transit projects, including an understanding of rail systems, infrastructure, and interfaces.
  • Experience with project planning, cost tracking, schedule management, and risk management activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a demonstrated commitment to delivering projects that enhance mobility and support sustainable communities.
