Our client is currently seeking a committed and experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis within the highways sector. The position will be based out of the Dartford depot, with primary responsibilities on-site in Bromley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising construction activities on highways projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
- Monitoring site safety and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed
- Maintaining detailed and accurate site records, including daily logs and progress reports
- Managing on-site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
- Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and authorities
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting on-site issues as they arise
- Ensuring that all site activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in site supervision, particularly within the highways sector
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site safety management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Proficient in using site management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid UK driving licence
