Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance (BPSS) and comply with ITAR restrictions.

The Opportunity

We're recruiting a WIP Administrator to support stock control and Work in Progress (WIP) activities within a highly regulated aerospace environment. This role is critical to maintain production flow, traceability and material accuracy across engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and issue stock to works orders, updating ERP systems accurately
  • Maintain batch control, quality and full traceability of parts
  • Package items for safe transport and storage preservation
  • Manage WIP storage and material movement
  • Process inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems
  • Follow safety, environmental and health standards (FTIS)
  • Support 5S activities to maintain housekeeping and safety standards
  • Assist with additional tasks as required in a fast‑paced environment

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Experience in stores, warehouse or inventory control (aerospace/defence desirable)
  • Understanding of WIP processes and ERP/MRP systems
  • Confident using computer‑based inventory systems
  • Knowledge of safe materials handling
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow processes and prioritise workload
  • Reliable, proactive and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication skills and team‑focused mindset

  • Timely turnaround of WIP and kitting
  • Adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety standards
