Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a range of small schemes valued between £10,000 and £200,000
- Providing cost estimates and financial reports
- Ensuring projects adhere to budgets and financial constraints
- Conducting risk, value management, and cost control
- Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
- Managing contract administration and dealing with NEC contracts
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Offering expert advice on commercial and contractual matters
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quantity surveying, particularly in the highways sector
- Understanding of NEC contracts
- Strong financial management and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience
