About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our team delivering mains renewal works on the Affinity Water project in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving vital water infrastructure, ensuring high-quality delivery, safety, and efficiency across sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for water mains renewal works
- Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and plant resources
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Conduct site briefings, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
- Monitor progress, productivity, and costs, reporting back to management
- Ensure excellent reinstatement and customer service standards are upheld
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in water mains renewal, utilities, or civil engineering
- Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman role
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations (NRSWA, HSG47, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery targets
- Good knowledge of street works and reinstatement requirements
Essential Qualifications
- CSCS Card (Supervisor level or above)
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
- Experience working on Affinity Water or similar frameworks
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card
