Our client, in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Inventory Controller to join their team on a 12-month contract based at RAF Coningsby. This role involves the crucial task of controlling, accounting for, and moving assets throughout aircraft maintenance servicing from 'Goods Inward' to delivery against schedules. The successful applicant will be working within the Mil Pt 145 gateway, adhering to strict legislation and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and movement of assets during aircraft maintenance servicing
- Monitor and record details for all issues and process equipment
- Ensure strict input of data into manual and electronic registers
- Register all assets received or dispatched through the TMF Logistics regulator
- Maintain physical control of all aircraft spares
- Populate TMF Logs databases and IMS systems for all transactions
- Resolve or escalate potential issues to ensure solutions are found promptly
- Manage inventory transfers and Maintenix transactions as per business processes
Job Requirements:
- Experience in stores, materials, and stock control
- Knowledge of MJDI and understanding of relevant regulations
- Strong skills in data input and register maintenance
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a demanding environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical control experience of aircraft spares
- Proficiency with TMF Logs databases and IMS systems
