Our client is seeking 5x GI Engineers for contract roles in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high profile scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting geotechnical investigations, including managing cable rigs, rotary drilling, and trial pits.
- Overseeing geotechnical work in fields where converter stations are located.
- Ensuring all work complies with standard certifications and industry regulations.
- Collecting and analysing geotechnical data to support project requirements.
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure effective delivery of geotechnical services.
- Implementing health and safety practices on site.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proficiency in managing geotechnical investigations and using related equipment.
- Ability to work effectively on site in various field conditions.
- Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification in geotechnical engineering.
Contract Details:
- Location: Lincolnshire
- Contract length: Up to 20 weeks
- Certification: SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid, CAT&Genny
- Rate: £350 a day, Outside IR35
- Start date: 6th July
