Our client is seeking 5x GI Engineers for contract roles in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high profile scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting geotechnical investigations, including managing cable rigs, rotary drilling, and trial pits.
  • Overseeing geotechnical work in fields where converter stations are located.
  • Ensuring all work complies with standard certifications and industry regulations.
  • Collecting and analysing geotechnical data to support project requirements.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure effective delivery of geotechnical services.
  • Implementing health and safety practices on site.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Proficiency in managing geotechnical investigations and using related equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively on site in various field conditions.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification in geotechnical engineering.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Lincolnshire
  • Contract length: Up to 20 weeks
  • Certification: SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid, CAT&Genny
  • Rate: £350 a day, Outside IR35
  • Start date: 6th July
