Job summary
I am recruiting for an Environment Manager to be based out of Bristol or London to work with a company where sustainability is at the heart of everything they do. Some travel is required across both cities with hybrid working offered.

Job description
The duties will include:
- Directly responsible for a small team of environmental professionals
- Responsible for ensuring environmental management compliance and best practice on projects and sites, and continual improvement of the above
- Responsible for supporting working winning activities from an Environment perspective
- Provide advice, support and assistance to all project and work winning teams to enable them to manage their environmental responsibilities;
- Support the delivery of BREEAM/LEED/WELL certifications as required on projects and tenders
- Supporting on defining the Environment and Carbon strategy
Qualities required:
- Good level of environmental management and general sustainability experience and skills in construction / built environment / physical materials industries
- Experience / competence managing operations within an accredited environmental management system, including people / processes / systems
- Experience / competence generating and delivering improvement initiatives within an operational function or project
- People and team leadership / development experience and capability
- Demonstrable passion and commitment for sustainability, carbon reduction and environmental outcomes
- Demonstrable experience of BREEAM, WELL and LEED certifications schemes
- Degree or equivalent in environmental or related subject
Not only will you be working on some exciting and sustainable projects, but you will receive a salary of £63,000 and a travel allowance plus other great benefits.
