Senior Account Manager - Business Development / Can be based at any number of locations throughout the UK.
£52-57k plus 38% commission and company car

The Role:
Position our client as the core supplier of systems, products and services through the effective management of direct and indirect sales channels in the Chemical Process Industry (CPI) & Process Industry
Area's covered - Europe North and East Customer Centre for UK and Ireland.
Responsible for the sales of all our clients systems, products and services in a defined geographical area and for the development and execution of sales plans and targets within the business unit sales strategy.
To achieve or exceed sales targets within the region.
Pursues prospects and leads in negotiations, constructing appropriate terms of sales.
To be an active member of the sales team in the region.
An important face of the brand to our customers, you will develop and maintain good customer relationships in the local market.
You will develop and implement regional plans to meet sales objectives in line with the Industrial and service business strategy.
You will help identify potential new areas of business with support from the wider organization and ensure we provide good aftersales service to existing customers with the help of the service aftermarket team.
Our top-class CRM platform will be your compass to drive all these business development activities.
Lead and determine own schedule, making frequent visits to existing and potential customers and partnering with sales management and the wider sales team to ensure transparent and collaborative management of the business area.
Customer visit reports, market analysis and timely, accurate market information will inform management's development of business strategy and deliver growth in line with Forecast targets.
Prepare proposals for CPI solutions and in conjunction with the Business Line Manager produce quotes have the opportunity, in conjunction with the product division plans, to develop new product launch plans for customers.
Liaise with colleagues from other divisions to maximize our customer relationships and business outcomes wherever possible.
Essential Criteria:
What They Expect
Fluent English language (written and spoken)
Extensive travelling within UK & Ireland and occasionally to other sites
Preferably a Degree in a Technical Discipline (Engineering / Science) or natural science (Physics, Chemistry) or equivalent experience in the Process, Chemical and Power industries
Strong selling experience and negotiation skills
Good commercial skills and awareness
Ability to influence and engage others in the pursuit of business opportunities
Strong relationship development skills
Excellent communications skills and ability to create appropriate communication networks
Capability to outline and sell the strengths of a variety of different solutions
