Job description

I am looking for an Environment Advisor to provide guidance, support, advice on Environment and Sustainability to ensure compliance.

Your role will include:

• Ensuring that the project is compliant with all Environmental and Sustainability regulations
• Providing support to investigate accidents, incidents and support on audit programmes
• Producing formal reports on findings and project updates
• Supporting the design teams throughout the planning stage to identify and control risks
• Engaging with site teams to identify best practice environmental mitigations and improved environmental compliance.

We are looking for:

• Educated to Degree level in a relevant field (Environment/Sustainability).
• Proven experience of incident investigation/fact finding.
• Practitioner Membership of IEMA or similar.
• Rail experience
• Experience or qualification in site auditing.
• Good communicator with influencing and persuasion skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.

Salary:

33-40k + car plus 25 days' annual leave (+Bank holidays) and Medical health cover
