Job description
Experience of:
- Electric vehicle unit deployment, preferably on the highways
- Highways design
- Running RFQ and Tender exercises

That the commissioning of all or some works packages |
- Framework Evaluation
- Preparation and management of formal Cabinet Member Framework reports
- Management of RFQ for small works packages and installations through the Framework
- Management of Mini-competition exercises and development of any ODDR required to obtain permission to award a commission to a supplier
- Work with Transport Strategy colleagues to identify appropriate locations for the installation of units
- Manage buildability and site investigation exercises to assure site locations for viability
- Manage any planning permissions required for build
- Manage any permissions with asset owners
- Obtaining estimates and commissioning of civils works prior to unit installation
- Commission design packages
- Interaction with design team and design approval authorities for civils work and unit installation to appropriate quality standards
- Commissioning and management of any traffic orders required
- Management of site works and CDM
- Instructions to commence and raising/management of Purchase Orders
- Commissioning of works packages to install
- Handover of final construction packages to back office and asset teams and maintenance teams
- Budget management
- Reporting
