Introduction
Our client, a leading name in the nuclear industry, is looking for a Senior CAD Engineer to join them on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a highly specialized sector where precision and safety are key. What will I be doing?
- Bring designs to life-create detailed CAD models and drawings using Autodesk software like AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Think beyond the blueprint-carry out design and analysis using Ansys and Mathcad to ensure precision and performance.
- Team up for success-work closely with project teams to make sure designs meet technical specs and comply with regulations.
- Keep quality in check-review and refine CAD models and documentation to maintain high standards.
- Share your expertise-mentor junior CAD engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
What do I need to succeed?
- Industry Experience - Background in the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry.
- Security Clearance - A valid SC Clearance is essential.
- Autodesk Expertise - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Design & Analysis Skills - Hands-on experience with Ansys and Mathcad.
- Revit Knowledge - Strong understanding of Revit and its role in design projects.
