Job description
This role involves delivering strategic client-side activities for the asset management service, particularly focusing on statutory disrepair cases relating to the repairs service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering strategic client-side activities for the asset management service
- Handling statutory disrepair cases and ensuring compliance with the relevant procedures
- Engaging with key stakeholders to achieve quality and consistency in service delivery
- Providing instructions and guidance to internal and external contractor staff
- Ensuring work is completed on time, to a high specification, and in accordance with Health and Safety standards
- Managing potential disrepairs, statutory nuisance, structural repairs, and insurance claims professionally
Job Requirements:
- Qualified surveyor familiar with the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018
- Full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Valid asbestos awareness certificate
- Experience in building pathology, particularly issues of dampness
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety standards
- Capable of supervising and providing guidance to contractor staff in various locations
