Job description
This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of the certification process for Combat System software for in-service Submarines. Additional development opportunities within integration roles and potential moves into Submarine-system development, product development, and future combat system design activities are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking test events on the Integration facility
- Developing test scripts and procedures to test Combat Systems
- Completion of routine maintenance on the Integration rigs
- Development of alternative test procedures and practices
- Providing specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in the testing of Submarine systems
- Ensuring design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools, and endorsed by the appropriate level of authority
Job Requirements:
- Experience of Submarine Combat applications
- Degree level qualification within an Engineering field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience of Sonar capability
