Job description
Location: Broughton, Chester (2-3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 month contract
Rate: £53.50ph UMB (Inside IR35)
Role:
Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Configuration & Data Manager for a contract position in the aerospace industry. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, requiring 2-3 days on-site in Broughton, and is set for an initial duration of six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Configuration and Data Management team
- Ensuring effective Change Management across the projects
- Supporting Release and Deployment Management for hardware and documents
- Introducing and managing a new configuration management system
- Planning and estimating Configuration Management work
- Engaging in process improvement initiatives
- Providing training and mentoring to team members
- Building strong relationships with project teams, customers, and peers
Job Requirements:
- Experience in providing configuration management on aerospace projects
- Experience working with modifications to aerospace products
- Understanding of data management principles
- Familiarity with Defence Hardware projects is advantageous
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
