Job description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the IT sector, is currently seeking a Senior Developer on a fixed-term contract to join their team in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of web products, including the main website and visualisation dashboards.
- Direct the delivery of scripts, software, web services, and web development projects.
- Facilitate the provision of data, analytics, and assurance services.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver successful outcomes and improve processes.
- Manage technical and project aspects to deliver innovative solutions within robust timelines.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in leading the design and development of websites and interactive web products.
- Proficiency in PHP and other web-centric languages.
- Track record of designing scripts, software, and web services.
- Knowledge of developing static and dynamic web service front-ends, including visualisations backed by complex datasets and interactive GIS models.
- Holding a highly numerate degree or substantial equivalent experience is required.
