Job description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and troubleshooting our equipment, with a strong focus on generators and renewable energy systems. This is a hands-on role that involves significant site work across Scotland, collaborating closely with our Area Sales Manager and Service Manager to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, with a focus on generators and renewable energy equipment.
- Travel to various sites across Scotland, providing on-site support and expertise to clients.
- Work collaboratively with the Area Sales Manager and Service Manager to address client needs and maintain high service standards.
- Learn and implement the use of cutting-edge tools and technologies specific to the company's operations.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide timely support when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven background in working with generators, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Mid-level experience in a similar role, demonstrating hands-on expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainable practices.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies through training.
- Full UK driving license.
