PERSONAL QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE

The following qualities/experience are essential:

Health Safety & Environmental

* Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

* NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate

* Strong pragmatic knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and guidance relevant to on and offshore construction operations.

* Experience of working around offshore construction vessels, including lifting operations, working at height, manual handling, confined space entry, hot work and vessel PTW systems.

* Highly competent in chairing risk assessments at all levels.

* Recognised root cause investigation techniques such as Kelvin TopSet.

* Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point The following qualities/experience are desirable:

* Working within a Heavy Civil Engineering/Major Construction environment

* Experience of on and offshore heavy lifts

* Offshore operations and construction experience

* Experience of working under the CDM Regulations 2015
