Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to join their team. Permanent. full-time job role based from offices in Birmingham, operating on a hybrid basis.

This is an opportunity to join an established team that can provide excellent technical development. You will be exposed to the latest technolgoies and work with the network and infrastrucutre teams to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Azure tenant services and related operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, virtual networks, and other Azure services.
• Monitor and optimise Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement and manage Azure EntraID for user authentication and access control.
• Configure and manage Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, and gateways.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages for routine tasks and system management.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for efficient resource deployment.
