Our client is looking for a Setting Out Engineer to start on a Southern Water Sewer Project in Kent, this is a 12 - 18 month CIS project starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver site engineering on a range of sewer and water projects.
• Oversee and advise on utility and civil-based projects.
• Provide setting out for the project team and collate as-laid information.
• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Produce documentation for site tasks and complete inspection and test plans.
• Liaise with stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in a utilities environment, preferably sewer or water.
• Knowledge of deep excavation and trenchless pipe installation methods.
• Experience working in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams.
• Understanding and application of digital technology.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of CDM and ability to make engineering decisions and judgements on design.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering
• Chartered membership status with the Institution of Civil Engineers
