Technical Architect (NPPV2 Cleared) - UiPath / RPA Focus

💰 Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
Overview
We're currently seeking an experienced Technical Architect with active NPPV2 police clearance to join a high-profile programme within a secure public sector environment.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong UiPath Developer background, who can operate at both architecture level and hands-on delivery, designing and implementing scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver end-to-end technical architecture across RPA and wider systems
- Design, build, and optimise UiPath automation solutions (bots/workflows)
- Act as both Technical Architect and senior UiPath Developer, remaining hands-on where required
- Establish automation standards, frameworks, and governance
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and policing requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users to shape solutions
- Review and approve solution designs and automation processes
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Senior UiPath Developer
- Active NPPV2 clearance (essential)
- Strong hands-on expertise with UiPath (core requirement)
- Ability to work across:
- Solution architecture and design
- Hands-on RPA development
- Experience with integration, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Background working in public sector or regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with TOGAF or architecture frameworks
- Knowledge of policing or Criminal Justice IT (CJIT) environments
- Exposure to other RPA tools (e.g. Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
