Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv)
Our client, a leader in the power utilities and renewable energy sector, is currently seeking a Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv) to join their team. This permanent position plays a pivotal role in the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals for power distribution projects, especially in the 66kv to 132kv range.
Multiple positions which offer hybrid / remote working and within the non regulated industry (BESS, Solar, Indistrial, Wind, Data Centre and Light Rail)

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals
- Estimating costs and creating comprehensive bid documents
- Collaborating with engineering and project management teams to gather necessary information
- Reviewing tender specifications and identifying technical requirements
- Conducting thorough analyses of tender documentation
- Assessing project risks and creating mitigation strategies
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in preparing and managing proposals within the power utilities or renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of power distribution networks, particularly in the 66kv to 132kv range
- Proficiency in cost estimating and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex technical documents
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
