Business Development Executive
Maritime Security | Surrey
£40,000 - £45,000 + Performance Bonus
Our client, a specialist Maritime Security company is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Executive to support continued growth. Based at their offices in Surrey, this role offers exposure to international clients and high‑value security projects and will give the indiviual excellent exposure to the sales, Marketing and Proposals side of the company.
This is a hands‑on position combining sales support, marketing execution and RFP / bid writing, ideal for a proactive professional looking to step into a broad, impactful commercial role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver marketing activity including industry conferences, exhibitions and events.
- Coordinate conference stands, branding and promotional materials
- Support sales activity from lead generation through to contract award
- Maintain CRM data, sales pipelines and reporting
- Co-ordinate and support writing RFP, ITT and proposal responses, coordinating internal contributors
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
The Ideal Candidate:
- Graduate level education (or equivalent)
- experience in business development, sales, marketing or proposals
- Proven experience writing RFPs / bids / proposals
- Strong written communication and commercial awareness
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience in maritime, security, defence, offshore or technology sectors highly desirable
