Topman - Drainage / Civils
Location: Sizewell Link Road & Two Valley Bypass
Start Date: From 8th June 2026
Engagement: CIS (PAYE to be confirmed)
Duration: Long‑term
We are recruiting Topmen to join drainage gangs on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the pipelayer from ground level
- Receiving, checking, and distributing materials
- Safely lowering pipes and equipment into trenches
- Monitoring trench safety and identifying potential hazards
- Assisting with manhole construction and backfilling operations
- Maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work areas
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Topman or Ground worker on drainage works
- Good understanding of trench safety and exclusion zones
- CSCS card
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
