Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Stoke Gifford Depot, Bristol
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (Mon-Fri)

What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out preventative, scheduled and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose faults using drawings, data and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and overhauls to a high standard
- Complete accurate documentation and reports
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Maintain HSQE standards and safe working practices
- Use IT systems for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Support stock control and parts tracking
- Work with wider teams and support other depots when required
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:
- Mechanical engineering background (electrical knowledge beneficial)
- NVQ Level 2 in Engineering (Level 3 preferred)
- Experience in maintenance, repair or overhaul environments
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, email)
Desirable:
- Experience with diesel engines, automotive or aircraft systems
