An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Production Scheduler to join a global manufacturing organisation at a key point of transformation.

This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping planning operations, leading a team, and driving on‑time delivery performance in a complex, high‑quality manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere and align to the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Fine-plan and schedule supply orders internally according to demand priorities and inventory targets
  • Mitigate past due orders through expediting
  • Manage constraints and re-sequence/re-route production orders to minimise deviation from MPS
  • Escalate execution issues to the Network Scheduler team when necessary
  • Identify inefficiencies in the team and streamline workloads for optimal effectiveness
  • Establish an effective tier meeting structure within the department for efficient information flow
  • Utilise Talenthub to support and develop Production Schedulers
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Implement inventory management to meet targets and ensure on-time delivery
  • Identify and manage static inventory to optimise levels and material velocity
  • Attend and manage Tier 1 activity and attend Tier 2 when necessary
  • Act as a delegate to the Material Operations Manager when required

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Materials Planning or Master Scheduling
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems; MfgPro experience is preferred
  • Strong collaborative style and stakeholder management ability
  • Experience in managing a team or possesses strong leadership attributes and effective communication
