Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of working for Tier 1 civil engineering contractors required for long term contract opportunity.

This role will see you work on several frameworks that are being delivered across Kent and Hampshire. All are being delivered using the NEC Option C & E contracts so experience of using these clauses is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of quantity surveying services across multiple projects
  • Manage and oversee financial aspects of NEC4 Option C and E contracts
  • Work with the transport team to ensure project delivery meets contractual and financial goals
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
  • Administer change management and value engineering processes
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering sector
  • Expertise in NEC4 Option C and E contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of financial management and cost control
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in quantity surveying or related field
