Our client, a prominent company in the water sector, is seeking a Site Engineer for a contract position on a Waste Water Treatment Works (WWTW). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital infrastructure project, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating on-site activities related to the civil engineering aspects of the water treatment works
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design plans
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the site team
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation and reports
  • Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Identifying and resolving any site issues or challenges promptly
  • Monitoring and managing project resources and timelines effectively

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in civil engineering, preferably within the water sector
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes and relevant regulations
  • Proficiency with engineering software and project management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification
