The Opportunity: We are looking for a specialist I&C Construction Supervisor to join a Tier 1 engineering partner at Hinkley Point C. This is a high-authority, technical leadership role responsible for the installation, integration, and handover of complex Instrumentation and Control systems within the nuclear island and turbine halls.
The Role: Reporting to the Lead Construction Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of the I&C erection strategy. Your primary goal is to ensure that all digital and analog control systems are installed to exact specifications and seamlessly transitioned to the commissioning phase.

Subcontractor Management: Oversee specialized I&C subcontractors, ensuring the highest workmanship standards and strict adherence to the Site Quality Assurance Programme.
Commercial & Variance Control: Investigate deviations, non-conformances (NCRs), and extra works. You will coordinate with site management to minimize cost impacts and resolve claims fairly and promptly.
Project Monitoring: Provide critical data and input to the Construction Monitoring System (CMS) and maintain a comprehensive site logbook to track all relevant project events.
Interface Coordination: Liaise with Engineering to clarify technical documentation and coordinate with other discipline managers (Mechanical/Piping) to manage cross-functional interfaces.
Safety & Quality: Enforce the site-specific EHS plan and "Quality First" culture. You have the full authority to suspend non-compliant or unsafe work and deliver essential toolbox talks and risk assessments.
Punch List Management: Take proactive action to ensure all I&C punch list items are cleared to support the commissioning team's requirements.

I&C Expertise: Thorough technical knowledge of I&C systems, power plant operations, and site construction execution.
Leadership Authority: Proven experience in managing subcontractors and subordinate personnel, with the ability to conduct assessments and appraisals.
Commercial Awareness: A strong understanding of cost-benefit tradeoffs, non-budgeted costs, and contract management.
Attributes:
A "Big Picture" thinker with an obsessive eye for technical detail.
Decisive problem solver with a positive, goal-oriented mindset.
Professional, loyal, and committed to high-compliance nuclear environments.
