Our client, a leading entity in the Energy and Nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Site Piping Engineer to join their dynamic team on a brand new nuclear project. This contract role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in piping installation, construction coordination, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and 3D models, and produce accurate redline mark-ups to reflect as-built conditions
  • Act as the technical point of contact for piping installation issues, resolving construction and engineering queries in a timely manner
  • Supervise and coordinate piping installation activities on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Ensure all installation works comply with applicable codes, standards, and approved documentation
  • Manage and verify the completion of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) and associated documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance
  • Interface with construction teams, subcontractors, and quality personnel to maintain progress and resolve issues

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in a site-based construction/installation environment
  • Strong ability to interpret and amend technical drawings and models
  • Demonstrated experience supervising installation works on major projects
  • Solid understanding of quality processes and documentation, including LTQRs
  • Ability to manage technical issues under site conditions with minimal supervision
