Our client, a prominent consultancy in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking an NPI Quality Engineer to join their team. This permanent role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of quality and compliance throughout the new product introduction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Development process through Gate and Design Reviews
  • Verify products with approved design documentation and report deviations
  • Conduct product, process and procedure audits throughout product development
  • Facilitate and assist Root Cause Problem Solving activities with Engineering/IPTs
  • Represent Quality at Customer, Supplier and cross-functional meetings
  • Establish CI through Business Initiatives and Lessons Learned
  • Deliver project Quality requirements within time and budget
  • Develop a Quality Culture within Project Management and Engineering functions

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in implementing quality improvement
  • Understanding of Aerospace, Quality System and Regulatory Standards
  • Conversant with application of RCCA techniques
  • Programme and Time Management skills
  • Mechanical and electrical inspection experience
  • Auditor trained and qualified
  • EASA Part 21G, Part 21J and Part 145 trained
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams
