Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and site procedures.
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure checks and hold points are met.
- Assist with permits, procurement of materials/services, and site documentation.
- Provide engineering support to resolve technical queries and issues.
- Carry out setting out works and ensure accuracy within tolerances.
- Maintain and verify calibration of surveying equipment and benchmarks.
- Support effective site communication through sketches and technical information.
- Contribute to change management (design updates, subcontractor coordination, technical changes).
- Maintain daily site diaries and progress tracking.
- Promote and implement the Health & Environmental Management System.
- Report to Senior Engineer/Sub-Agent.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
