Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller to join their team in Leeds. This is a contract role working on various water frameworks, including Yorkshire Water Storm Overflow alliance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of junior modellers, providing guidance and expertise
- Utilising Infoworks ICM to develop and refine wastewater models
- Working collaboratively on water frameworks with a Tier 1 consultancy
- Delivering high-quality project outcomes within designated timeframes
- Preparing technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with project managers and clients to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Attending the Leeds office 2-3 days a week, with potential options in Peterborough and London
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the wastewater industry
- Proficiency with Infoworks ICM
- Strong background in civil engineering
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of junior modellers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work from Leeds, with possible options in Peterborough and London
