About the Role
We are currently seeking a hands-on and reliable Production Operative / Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or engineering environments looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
You will be responsible for a variety of production and assembly tasks, contributing to the manufacture and finishing of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out product finishing tasks, including brass polishing, bronzing, and spray painting
- Perform electrical assembly work to required standards
- Operate machinery such as lathes, drills, and hand tools
- Undertake bonding processes, including welding and soldering
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and in line with company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing, engineering, or production role is essential
- Ability to use a variety of tools and machinery confidently
- Experience with finishing techniques and bonding processes is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good practical skills and a proactive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
