Role details:

We are looking for a Business Change Lead to support our client, who support delivery across defence infrastructure programmes, to join them on a part-time contract basis (3 days per week). The role itself is predominately remote working with adhoc site visits when required.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on, consultative role for an individual who combines business analysis, change delivery and practical implementation capability. The successful candidate will work across stakeholders from senior leadership to end users and external technology partners, ensuring that new tools, processes and standards are adopted effectively and drive better operational performance.


Dynamics Optimisation and Project Accounting Embedding:

  • Lead the next phase of refinement and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Support the transition to a robust project accounting approach.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and adoption issues, and implement improvements.


Business Change and Adoption:

  • Develop and deliver a focused business change programme.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across all levels of the business.
  • Ensure adoption is supported through training, communications, and structured follow-up.


Business Process Improvement:

  • Define and implement consistent ways of working.
  • Translate processes into practical, business-friendly documentation.
  • Improve process clarity, accountability, and governance.


Reporting, Data, and Management Insight:

  • Improve data discipline, process adherence, and reporting requirements.
  • Shape a practical Power BI/KPI reporting roadmap.
  • Support the business in becoming more data-led.


Supplier and Delivery Coordination:

  • Act as the key business-side lead between MML and relevant technology consulting partners.
  • Translate business requirements into clear delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure improvements are introduced at a pace the business can absorb.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable ERP/business platform (highly desired).
  • Understanding of BIM/ISO 19650 style process disciplines (highly desired).
  • Proven delivery experience in business change, systems adoption or process improvement.
  • Background in business analysis, process mapping, and translating requirements into workable solutions.
  • Experience supporting or delivering technology-enabled changes.
  • Demonstrable experience working across stakeholders, from executives to operational end users.
  • Experience embedding new systems, processes, controls, or reporting disciplines.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on role where the individual both coordinates and executes tasks.

Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to project accounting, project controls, and project financial management.
  • Experience with shaping reporting requirements and working with Power BI.
  • Experience working with external technology partners/consultancies.
  • Exposure to professional services, engineering, consultancy, or project-based environments.
