Our client, a trusted name in the finance sector, is looking for a meticulous Reconciliations Clerk to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing daily and monthly reconciliations of various accounts
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies between different financial records
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of reconciled accounts
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of reconciliation processes
  • Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline reconciliation processes
  • Investigating and resolving any issues that arise during reconciliation
  • Implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in account reconciliations or a similar financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
