Our client is currently seeking a Landscape Clerk of Works to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing the landscape elements of the National Highways Project, ensuring compliance and supporting both the engineering and commercial aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with the LEMP, Series 3000, and grassland method statements
- Managing permits and quality checks
- Supporting the engineering team in maintaining high standards
- Assisting with the commercial aspects of the landscaping tasks
- Resolving issues by submitting technical queries and participating in associated meetings
- Raising early warnings with the contractor if issues arise
- Conducting meetings with soil specialists to support landscape efforts
- Preparing as-built drawings and upcoming planting season plans
- Conducting risk reviews and addressing design changes that impact the landscape
Job Requirements:
- Experience in landscape and highway projects
- Understanding of LEMP, Series 3000, and grassland method statements
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to support both engineering and commercial teams effectively
- Proficiency in conducting quality checks and managing permits
- Problem-solving abilities to address landscape design changes
- Ability to work on-site three days a week
- Experience with risk reviews and technical query management
