Our client, a leading company is currently seeking a Data Privacy Manager on a contractual basis. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to support and lead critical data privacy initiatives within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of a GDPR and data privacy uplift programme
- Lead and contribute to DPIAs, data risk assessments, and remediation actions
- Manage and support SARs / DSARs and associated workflows
- Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
- Support privacy incident and breach management where required
- Work closely with legal, IT, security, and operational stakeholders
- Ensure practical application of UK GDPR and ICO guidance
- Contribute to policies, procedures, and privacy-by-design approaches
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven hands-on data privacy / data protection experience
- Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR
- Experience supporting privacy uplift or compliance programmes
- Comfortable operating in contract / interim environments
- Able to work independently with minimal onboarding
- Confident, business-facing communicator
Highly Desirable:
- Experience in regulated, healthcare, retail, or large complex organisations
- Use of privacy tooling (e.g. OneTrust or similar)
